The group's activities in MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) range from design, development and fabrication of not only the MEMS devices themselves but also the circuits associated with MEMS.

Our close collaboration with NASA-JPL has led us to work with MEMS Gyroscopes and building reconfigurable circuits to optimise these devices. We have a class 10 clean room facility with the Scottish Microelectonics Centre (SMC) and have access to a full range of expertise in RF-MEMS, BioMEMS and Optical MEMS.
